music to Panasonic’s ears


For the 2015/16 Panasonic wireless music systems campaign in John Lewis, we needed to recruit exceptional demonstrators befitting the status of both brand and retailer. We went after genuine music enthusiasts, musicians, and producers who found it easy to share their passion and bring the products to life.


Our intense ‘Be Brilliant’ training programme took place at Panasonic’s head offices in Bracknell, where the team was immersed for two days in the Panasonic brand and product range and John Lewis sales processes.



We used an incentive scheme to reward our demonstrators if they exceeded their individual daily sales targets and it worked brilliantly.


Our All Connected promoter team in John Lewis has continued to drive sales growth in a very competitive category. In the first six months of 2016, average daily sales of Panasonic’s most popular multi-room speaker were over 500% higher when compared to a store where no promoter was present.
